Florence (Griffiths) Joubert, 89, passed away October 28, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Bedford, MA to the late Frederick and Gladys (Gates) Griffiths, she grew up in Taunton, MA, was a longtime Springfield resident and lived in East Longmeadow for the past six years. Flo was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She had worked as a secretary for the Springfield Rescue Mission. An accomplished artist, she enjoyed oil painting and writing poetry. Most importantly, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. Flo was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harold, a son, Russell, 2 brothers, Stanley and Elliott Griffiths. She leaves a son, Norm Joubert and his wife Sandy of  VT and a daughter, Cynthia Rowley and her husband Michael of East Longmeadow; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Betty Griffiths. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 216 Allen St., Hampden MA with a Calling Hour from 10:00-11:00 a.m.followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
